We'll play at Krishna's Village Of Peace 4th August (Thursday) at 17:00 and 6th August (Saturday) at 20:30.
Until a new site is made I shall put all news and information only here. I leave the rest of the page unchanged, so remember that everything you can read about besides this is history. :)

Finally we have something for you to listen to. We have prepared 3 pieces, which give you a foretaste of our forthcoming (since what seems like forever) album. The tracks are not in their final version, thus they're labeled promo/demo.
Beneath you'll find these pieces in mp3 format recorded in good quality of 192kbps. If anyone should be interested in the CD itself, we will have it with us at Polish Woodstock Festival, and when we get back (and if there would be any left) you may still order it by writing to us at omkara@omkara.pl

Which happens to be also the first videoclip of Omkara ever. We should get more video samples from the Woodstock concert, but for the time being we give you "Maya". The quality is poor, the sound badly recorded, nonetheless, it's better than nothing.

Omkara - status for July 2004
These were long 3 years. Much has changed in the band since the last update. Very much indeed, but all the changes hopefully let us develop.
Why have I neglected the page? Because I really didn't want to do anything not putting my whole heart and soul in it. But now it is high time to show you the new Omkara with its new page. We're currently working on it and it'll take a while, as you can all imagine, before we're finished. But I won't make the same mistake twice and I won't tell you when it'll be ready this time. :)
The news are that after a long break we started giving concerts based upon a new material (there's currently 25 minutes of it alltogether), with our new guitar player and a whole bunch of new ideas.
I really wanted to thank you all for your support. Probably if it wasn't for you, this text would never appear. As usual any comments are welcomed via e-mail to omkara@omkara.pl, or by means of comments here or in the guestbook.
